A true love story from Lucknow, which starts from the swimming pool, where Jay (Akshay Anand) and Mohini (Sangeeta Gosh) suddenly see each other.

Slowly and slowly Jay proves his tru love for Mohini and they become true lovers. Mohini’s father Bharamadev Sharma (Amrish Puri) is a Superintendent of Police, where is comes to know that his daughter is in love whose father is a Smuggler and his old enemy also.

Jay Prakash’s father Seth Kashi Ram (Anupam Kher) is a richest person in Lucknow, due to his great sources with the senior police officers, he saves himself from the attack, and he becomes an obstacle for S.P.Bharamadev Sharma to become a Commissioner Of Police, at the end both of their enemity become a wall in between Jay and Mohini.

Dr.Mirza Chingazi (Pran) who is the closest friend of S.P.Bharamadev Sharma and their family doctor also tries to help Jay and Mohini, to make their love a success. On the other hand he tells S.P.Bharamadev Sharma and Seth Kashi Ram that their enemity is becoming an obstacle in between the two lovers. Seeing their fathers enemity and hatred, they leave their homes in search of a new loving world with the help of their friends.

On their way Jumman Khan (Sadaqat Mohid) meets them in train, who tries to rape Mohini, struggling to save herself from Jumman Khan, she kills him, Jay and Mohini in the dark night get down from the train on a village station.

There comes a voice from Alam Panah Haji Waris Ali Shah tomb breaking the silence of night attracting Jay and Mohini towards them, Jay and Mohini reach at the tomb of Waris Pak and pray there for the success of their love.

What happens after that? Whether Dr.Mirza Chingazi help and sacrifice proved useful for Jay and Mohini? Whether Seth Kashi Ram and S.P.Bharamdev Sharma put down their hands of enemity infront of love? Whether Jay and Mohini get success in their love?
