The theme of the film Bheegi Palkein deals with the love and conflict between Ishwar and Shanti.

They were childhood friends, in due course of time their friendship grows to intense love and they get married against the wishes of their parents, from the soothing moonlight of love, romance and pleasure they step into the dazzing sun of reality – responsibility and necessity of a home.
