It is a story of wealth-hungry Seth Hastimal (Anupam Kher) and his wayward son Rahul (Kamal Sadanah). Father is great miser and money greedy, whereas son is a spend-thrift, fun-loving and joy seeker. Troubed with his sons innumerable frolics, Seth Hastimal, one day decides to get him married, as this news reaches Rahul, he makes his escapade to Chamba with his friend Peter (Ali). In beautiful natural surroundings of Chamba, Rahul comes across Nikki (Priya Arora) hot-headed daughter of Industrialist Jalan (Saeed Jaffery). They do not see eye to eye with each other. Rahul has to visit the police lock-up as a result of a quarrel between the two. Time passes by, atmosphere changes, sworn enemies Rahul and Nikki turn into each other’s most desired friends. When Jalan comes to know about Rahul, he insults him badly. But who can distract a lover from the path of love? At the end, defeated Jalan engages a killer after Rahul.
